A Look Back
I'm walking out forever...I'll never come back again.
I'll never cheer at another sports carnival or moan about teachers to my friends.
Homework has ceased piling up and assignments have now stopped.
I'll never have to spend another hour staring at the clock.
No more daggy uniforms or screaming teachers anymore.
No more tedious, dragging assemblies or lectures that intend to bore.
No more stupid detentions. I guess it's all over now.
It's time to take our curtain call, time to take our bow.
So now I guess were all leaving now, thanks for having us here.
We'll be glad to leave and sad to go. I'm sure we'll shed some tears.
So before we wander out the door, we'll try to look back and smile.
As we go into our futures because I'm sure we'll be gone awhile.
