Loneliness

It's a feeling of emptiness,
That won't go away,
Playing with your emotions,
Day after day.

It's standing in a room,
Not knowing where to sit,
Worrying that where you do,
You simply just won't fit.

It's a feeling which you can't escape,
However hard you try,
And the longer that it lasts for,
The more you want to cry.

It's counting minutes go slowly by,
Because you've nothing else to do,
But sit and watch others laugh,
And wish that you could too.
